Location: Collins Center for the Arts | Host: College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
This year’s Maine Heritage Lecture, one of the signature annual events from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, is set to take place on October 22 at 3:00 PM in the Bodwell Lounge of the Collins Center for the Arts.
This year’s speaker is Gretchen Faulkner, director of the Hudson Museum, located in the CCA. She has been with the Hudson Museum since 1986 and became director in 2002. She oversaw the redesign of the Hudson Museum in 2009, following the renovation of the Maine Center for the Arts, now the Collins Center for the Art. She develops exhibits and programs that are grounded in the museum’s collections, especially the museum’s Wabanaki holdings.
